    1. West Malaysia on the Malay Peninsula borders Thailand in the north and Singapore in the south.
    2. East Malaysia is located on the northern part of the island of Borneo, a huge, rugged island in the Malay Archipelago (Greater Sunda Islands) and it is also considered as the third largest island in the world.

  • East Malaysia borders Indonesia and surrounds the Sultanate of Brunei.

  • The Capital of Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur which is located in West Malaysia. Many universities are also located in West Malaysia.

  • Malaysia is a culturally diverse country with 3 major Ethnic groups, Malays, India, and Chinese, who live in complete harmony practicing their respective religions.

  • Malaysia practices 3 major religions with Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism.
